tmrbwilson1998
I have been struggling with my attempts with the very ambitious PS. I want to grow into it, but even the basics at this point are daunting for me. Could you gals recommend a good tutorial book (I am a book kind of learner - must highlight!!)? Thanks for any help! MaryJo
I purchased Ro's "Secrets Revealed" I use PSE5 . There are others depending on your program. Then I took the class "How to combine Scrapsimple Paper and Photo Templates. (there is an e-book for that class too. Then I bought "Mastering Brushes" (a fantastic book) I just bought Pattern Blends and Fillers, Oh My. and "How to use ScrapSimple Tools:Custom Shapes and Patterns" Also when I purchase anything from SG's: I always print off the instructions that go with it. as you can tell I love the books and instructions too! I joined SG's on Aug. 18th and I feel its all starting to come together. also, I ask ?'s on the board, everyone is soo very nice. And I love the classes. I am taking 2 more in September. You'll get it, it just takes time but it is frustrating, I've been there. Good luck, I hope this helps and I can't wait to see some of your layouts real soon. tmrbwilson1998
Thanks a bunch, MJ! Those sound like super resources, so I guess I will have to go shop in the boutique (aw, shucks...lol)! So there is a light at the end of this tunnel, huh? Cannot wait to actually get some layouts done, and in the meanwhile, off I go to check out the resources you mentioned! Tina

April Showers
Ro's Scrapbook Software Secrets Revealed Photoshop will have you going faster than you can imagine. (especially if you are frustrated.) Two of my daughters with zero photoshop experience have watched them. One is making lovely scrapbook pages, the other is designing colorful floor plans. (She always was a little quirky!) The videos are really easy to follow and you can always re-watch them if you forget or don't quite understand something. They were the first thing I purchased on this site, but definitely not the last. Welcome! And don't hestitate to post any questions you may have. I use CS2, but still have PS7 on my computer too. PBarnes
I totally agree with April. Ro's "Secrets" is the best way to cut through your confusion with the software and it is program specific FOR scrapbooking.
