My deadline for next week has come and gone. I have one of those achy-breaky fall cold/fluey things and don't feel very well. I have one really good muse ready to go. I need two more and I need to get them written fast.

My brain is stuck. Will you unstick it?

Do you have any topics, in particular, that you would like to hear me talk about? Any stories? Anything?

My ears are open.

Thanks for any help you can swing my way!

The first thing that came to mind - how God speaks to us through other people's words.

You may already be unstuck with the above suggestions, but here's one I'd love to read more about:

How digi-scrapping has helped you discover who you are: what you think; has defined you more: Because
I am a firm believer of "The hardest part of life is dealing with the person in the mirror" oh I forgot the
exact quote. Darn :blondmoment:

Basically self-knowledge is empowering. Stuff like that

*I'll post back if I run across that quote!!

Ro, you do really amazing with the muses, every five days we get to hear some of your wisdom. That's a very big under taking. Why don't you just take a five day break. Allow yourself to be refreshed and revived. It will probably do two things one you will have a breather and two we will all be hanging out for when you do come back and appriecate what you do even more so. "What do I fill it in with" I can hear you saying, well I think just more LO's. Maybe you could have a grab from the members gallery week.
Just another idea to throw in the pot. Hope you are feeling better soon. Its a really stinker that flu, I've just come through it.

Ro- hope you are feeling better! I for one would love to know how you undertook Scrapgirls- where did you find the inspiration, the support, the time? I realize its not a total muse, but would be great to know anyway!

Hmmmm...Ro, sorry you are under the weather (*sending prayers your way*). Since there are so many moms (and several dads) that frequent this site, maybe something about the lessons we learn from our children--specifically, how we love, nurture, protect, yada yada, yada our children is a model of how our Heavenly Father loves, protects, and nurtures us--- He does have a great sense of humor about it, too! Just a thot...drink some tea, climb in bed, and get some sleep!!!! :going-to-sleep:

I too would love to hear about what inspired you to start Scrapgirls. And how it all fell into place. We all love it here and would love to hear that whole story. How you stay organized and how you didn't give up in the beginning when you were unsure of your sucess. I like all the other ideas too of course.

The first thing that came to my mind is my moto lately -
"Change is inevitable"

I have had some very big changes in my life as well as becoming an empty nester when my friends still have several children at home.

I would love to hear the other things as well - change is just on my mind a lot lately so I thought I would share it also.

wow... great ideas

I find your muses very inspiring. I have applied several to my day to day life. Sometimes though, the most difficult tihng for me is placing trust in God. Its so funny because i'll trust strangers.. but not him. Id love to one day see your take on it.. does that make sense?

I hope the Doctor Fairy makes a visit and brings you some relief and comfort!

Okay, I just finished one up. It is about how I started the company and all of that. It was fun to write. I still have one to do, but I'll try it later. Going to go lie down for a while.

You guys are SOOOOOO awesome. This string is going to give me a nice "tickle file" (which is what writers call a list of ideas) to refer to for a while. I try to keep a running list of ideas in my notebook but got behind. I am loving finding out what you enjoy reading about. I'm surprised I didn't think about asking before.

So if you would like, keep telling me what you want to hear. It is so cool!

Ro I so enjoy reading your muses, they inspire me so everyday. (Thank you)!!!! In fact I have referred some of my good friends who are non-scrapbookers to this site just for your inspiration and they love it. I hope you are feeling better soon. Sometimes when I'm a little under the weather so to speak I like to just relax and look around me and sometimes little things in my enviroment sparks me about something in the past and that then gets me going. Get well soon. Thanks for all your inspiration. You really touch others with your thoughts.

I love reading your muses, too. Many times you speak about things from a perspective that just surprises and delights me. You are so honest and transparent that I cannot help but be moved. I would like to hear what you have to say about the stages of a woman's life or the phases a marriage goes through. I was touched by your stories about your sons earlier this year and I would also like to hear more about your experiences as a mother.

I hope you are feeling better.

How about how you met Gary or the story of your engagement or something? I just loved the one today (or yesterday? can't remember at the moment) about the scrapbook you made him. That was really sweet. :)

I hope you feel better soon Ro - I hate these cold/fluey things this time of year, well, anytime of year to be truthful.

I've read some great ideas in the earlier posts - I glad they were able to help you. Your muses are always so inspirational. The funny ones make me lol at my desk at work and the serious ones sometimes bring me to tears. I remember one you did shortly after I started receiving the newsletter about why bad things happen to good people. It was so touching to me because at the time my circle of extended family and friends had just gone through a string of sudden and tragic deaths. I forwarded that muse on to many others.

I also like when you include blogs from others, interesting things from the message board, and I love stories about your childhood and family too. I think it would be interesting to know what a typical day-in-the-life-of-Ro would be like, running a business from home while taking care of a busy family.

I'm sure you will be coming up with some great stuff - you never let us down and I have never started reading a muse that I couldn't finish because it didn't hold my attention! They're always great!

Good luck and take care!

Hi Ro, you and I haven't really met yet , but you're site is awesome. It has helped me through a really rough time in my life.

You know when you lose someone you love, how sometimes the world seems so dark and grey. well that's how my life has been for the past 5 yrs. My mom (and best friend died 5 yrs ago),My son was injured in Iraq in 04 (and he's back there again right now, I have lost 2 brother in laws, and 1 very good friend from HS (to cancer),

It would be nice to hear that I'm not the only soul on this planet that has been in this haze !! My family sees the change, I can feel the change, but you know I am so scared that it will come back !!!

This is pretty personal and normally I'm pretty private, but I want , no I really need to know that I'm not alone !!!
Just a thought to share with you ... MaryJo

Ro,

I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I don't have any ideas for you, there have been so many great ideas already!

I just want to say that Scrapgirls means a lot to me. I don't get out of the house very often.
Although, I have Grandkids at the house every weekday, not working has limited my interaction with adults
until I found Scrapgirls.

It is extremely refreshing to find a place where everyone is so friendly, where the word God, really means
something and where the CEO is a part of the daily exchange between company and customer.
That is almost unheard of in today's corporate world!
I really don't think of myself as a customer of ScrapGirls but as a member of a group, a great group!

Thank you for everything you do!

:bighug: Get better soon!

Thanks for the encouragment. This site has really helped me alot !! You know you can be around people all the time and they mean well ,but sometimes its nice to just do something you like and with people who like the same thing. I haven't looked at alot of my photos they have been too painful. But I did pick up the old ones today and started to go thru them. I think I'm almost ready to do a book of my Mom!! Boy is that scary.. She'd be glad to see I'm not moping around so much anymore.... Take care and I'll see you around.... MaryJo
