I just finished reading about Syndee. What a wonderful way to describe your life to date !
You managed to put into words so many of the same feelings I had when I reached thosee milestones in my life.
I think what I really love about these articles, is that it helps me to really put the person behind the posts.
I have always believed that the computer and text messaging has taken the personal out of our lives. I tell my teens all the time , how can you possibly know someone thru a text message or one of the messageboards on the net?
A big thank you to all the team for putting so much of themselves into the newsletter and every aspect of this web site. People are amazed when I tell them about it, so many have come back to me and were so glad they checked out the web site.
Syndee its been a pleasure to "meet you", and I hope we can get to know each other a little better....
To everyone, enjoy the day !!!!!

I second that Mary Jo.Where do the years go?We take time so much for granted and as you get older it speeds up.Why is that?Like Syndee I still feel in my twenties inside but the aches and pains tell me the body has changed lol

I love getting to know the designers this way as well... they all choose to describe themselves in such totally different ways. They give you a glimpse inside both by what they tell us and also by how they choose to tell us. I feel most priveleged when they really allow us to see the tender spots, tell about some insecurity or hurt which we have all felt in some way.
I'm 42 as well, so this was right on for me. I have loved every age more than the last. Even though my body is beginning to creak and moan, I have more fun, fulfillment and happiness with each passing year. I AM HOWEVER a little uneasy about getting so close to 50!
Thanks Syndee! For you and all your amazing kits.

I'll be 42 in November. I knew your photos looked familiar. They were from my "era".
And I've come to see my life a lot like you. Must be something that happens when they add a 4_ to our age. I'm still 25 most days (the year I met my DH) and have a hard time thinking I'm much older than that. But life is good right here. And I no longer dread each birthday. I'm really looking forward to each new adventure and celebration.
Thanks for a glimpse of you, Syndee!

Oh my gosh Syndee! You were able to put into words EXACTLY what I've been trying to articulate for years. Very well said!

Thanks so much for the kind words girls! It's refreshing to know that I am not alone
ways it almost seems easier to share your thoughts and feelings online than in person at least for me. I have always been an extremely shy
person who tends to hide behind her kids! lol! Here's to many more trips around the sun for us all!
