Haven't yet. But I suppose one could use their own handwriting for journaling, etc... Of, course, there's fun with glue. You could add just about anything that will fit on the page. Stickers, fibers, ticket stubs, eyelets, brads, other paper keepsakes, and pockets to hold or hide stuff like private notes. Some of the girls say they add a sticker on the back with info about the layout. Stuff like the font name, and where the kits or papers came from. You're only limited to your imagination. :)
Everything happens for a reason.

that sounds like it can be so fun i want to add some tags and may be i can add a small cut over a tag or some thing and make it so the tag will slide threw the page and go in and out to hide a secret note or some thing thank you for the good ideas i like them a lot

No I don't add anything when I have printed them out. only if I forgot to put the date on the layout I would add it. nothing more. I'm a totally digi scrapper!

I could see where it takes up a lot less space to do it "Digi". However, I have so many good supplies for paper, that I better use them, too. lol How long have you been scrapping digitally? What program?

Glad I could help, EJay. Secret notes would be a lot of fun!!!!

I love to add stuff to my digital pages. I mostly always add stuff especially if it is going to be a gift album. I feel that it adds a personal touch. Most embelishments work well ,like buttons, beads, fibers, stickers, you can see some of these pages in my gallery oh I have also added embossing powder. Just like Leslie I have a lot of supplies that I better be using. (words from the not so darling husband if I'm not putting everything to good use.) Check out my ABC album that I made for my mom. Did'nt include all the pages but some digi pages I did add to.

PS . EJay the album I'm talking about is( Tribute to mom) and many of the backgrounds are digital and I added photos and more.

I have tons of old pictures I am trying to scrap, so I usually print the paper with a few embellishments and then print a sheet of embell. on the side. I mount my pics with adhesive and sometimes add other stickers, ribbons, or brads. This is how I do the majority of my scrapbooking.

Do pictures printed off a printer last as long as the ones from the store? How old is your oldest home printed picture or embellishment?

Has it faded at all?

My layouts are printed on photo paper at Costco. It seems weird to add stuff to that. Do the ones of you who add stuff after printing print your layouts on cardstock or photo paper? Thanks!

Can I ask what size you all do your digi scrapping so that it can be printed?? I do all mine A4 so that I can print them at home, but I find that it limits what I can do, being rectangular not square.

I both print for 6X6 and 8X8 albums and then also do 8 1/2 X 11 to put on 12 X 12 layouts with other papers and embelishments

Joy, I scrap at 12x12 and then resize to 8x8 for printing at home. That way I can have square layouts. I've seen some layouts done in 11 x 8-1/2 (landscape) that look pretty nice, but I haven't found an album in that size yet. I know they exist somewhere. If I ever find one I might try some in that format.

**Thanks** Pat ~ I hadn't thought of that :blondmoment: ~ I love to have a printed out copy, so 8 x 8 would still work. BRILLIANT !!!!!
