Speaking as one who's son regularly trys to scale the TV (and who really does climb on top of the piano the second you look away), today's muse gave me a change of perspective. I feel like I spend all day saying "No, no! No, don't jump off the kitchen table! No, don't chew on rocks! No, don't put cherrios in the DVD player! No, don't use the toilet to wash your hands!" Sometimes, it's so easy to forget that God has a larger plan, and that we all have to go through stages of understanding. We are only given what we are ready to understand, line upon line. And that we all have things to learn and areas in which to grow. And, that I won't be saying "NO!" every 30 seconds for the rest of my life!
Thanks for the reminder and for the perspective adjustment, Ro!

Thanks Ro - its always very nice to read something that brings things right back to the basics of what's important. Sometimes it seems like we don't get that very much, for some reason we don't want to share anything that might not fit with someone else's thoughts. I really appreciate your openness.

Yes, Thank you for putting life in perspective this morning, even if I don't have toddlers anymore. Always love the muses. Thanks again!

Of course I could apply the muse today to my very active toddler twins, but.....I could also very easily apply it to myself! I guess thats why the Lord calls us His children! We tend to act like children on a daily basis! At least I do! LOL!! Thanks RO! You are so blessed with words! You always seem to get me thinking!!
