Can someone please help? I am new to digiscrapping. I am unable to figure out how to create a ribbon topper properly. I have been trying to use the fill with color option and playing with the transparency. I know I must be doing this wrong. There has to be a better, more attractive way. I sure would appreciate any advice that you all have. Thanks a bunch.

Try this, go to Touch Up > Color and Saturation. In this box there are different sections. One has 3 color sliders and it titled color balance. There are sliders that go from one color to it's opposite, here you can adjust colors and keep the shades of gray that define the ribbons. You can also adjust the saturation (how bright or saturated the color will be).
One other way to adjust the color is to go to Touch Up at the top of your screen > Other Photo Repair > Tint Brush. Select a color and intensity and paint away. It will only tint the object you have selected!
You might make a duplicate of the original layer and then adjust the opacity of the top layer to get more or less of a tinted effect. (Adjust the opacity of the top layer by going to Effects at the top of your screen > Transparency > Even, and adjusting the level of transparency you see. )
I hope that helps, DIP can do a lot of things, it just uses different terminology and methods to get there.

Thank You so much. I will try these two options. I have purchased alot of SG products and am know starting to use them more for digital scrapping. I had been using them is traditional scrapping. Have a 6 month old granddaughter and digital sure goes much faster. Thank you again. Will see how this works.

Sorry, I had started a previous message and had the program included, but silly me, I didn't send that one and forgot it on the post I did make. I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite 9. Thank You all for your help.
