Help
I must tell you that between the customer muse today and seeing one of my favourite layouts as a "weekly layout winner" my day has started well! I have had a really tough couple of weeks at work with an almost overwhelming work load and some unexpected and troubling issues (again at work). I felt like I was hitting a wall and then I did what I do every morning and opened my Scrap Girls newsletter.
Julia's muse reminded me that it's not the "big things" that make for a perfect day but the small, seemingly insignificant moments, like this morning as my 12 year old son pulled up a chair beside me and put his arm around me because he wanted to see what I was excited about. He makes my day and makes me forget about "work".
Thanks, Scrap Girls, for brightening my morning and putting a great big smile on my son's face as he saw my layout in the newsletter and exclaimed "Hey, that's you and dad. Dad's really gonna like this!"

Congrats on your lo. I noticed it when you posted it and thought it was quite attractive. I'm glad you had a happy lift to your difficult week. What you said is so true, it is good to focus on the great things in life.

Okay - so I got my SG coupon from Angie already and spent it ALREADY!!! I love a sale! I can't wait to use my new "Doodle Dandy Collection Biggie" , and my new brushes, and um the new stitches and I'm glad dh is working today!
