Mmmm... that sounds good! I only have a recipe for crock-pot peach butter - it's kinda like apple butter, just made with peaches. Let me know if you want it and I'll dig it out...

I let some butter soften, and add some brown sugar, pinch of cinnamon, and bitty pinch of nutmeg, mix it all up, and yummy (you could also throw in a drop of vanilla)Sorry, I don't ever measure anything, just try it to taste. It's especially good on a sweet potato!

Oh, I've made Honey Butter. I was sure someone would put in a recipe. Just whip the softened butter and drizzle in honey. The recipe called for a lot more than I would have thought, but it whips in really nice. Daughter's date is here. I can look up the proportions of you need me to.

Here's my Pear Butter recipe. It makes a fair amount so we can it. I love it so much though ... we go through it fairly quick. I like to make crepes and put butter and pear butter on them. MMMMMM! YUM-O!

Pear Butter
9 Cups Pears (Mashed)
3/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
2 tsp cinnamon
4 Cups sugar (to taste)

Mash pears (Bartletts are best but I've made it with D'Anjou and it's still yummy) and add vinegar; cook on medium heat for a few minutes. Add sugar & spices. Cook until thickened (stirring occassionally.) Pack in sterilized jars and seal while hot.

(Bartlett pears of medium size contain only 63 calories each! - We all know that there are no calories in sugar! :P )
