I'll be sending mine in this week. I did this last year and it was great fun. The recipes and cards you get in return are "fabulous, baby"! :D

I just sent round 3 of recipe card confirmations -- more great ones!

I've had a question in several of the emails that I figured I should probably answer here --
do you need to include a supply/product list? The answer is no...after the whole swap is over, though, everyone is encourage to post their card in the gallery and that would be the best place for you to list your supplies.

Looking foward to seeing more!

Oh wow with everyone's little bits of info here and there, this sure does look as if its gonna be a wonderful wonderful swop. I just counted up last years recipes and there were 57, so come on girls lets see if we can beat that. I have sent in two as well, they weren't cookie recipes they were cake recipes! One is entertaining the other is delicious!!!! :disappearing-smilie:

I got lucky last year and found a really nice photo album with 4x6" slots at the Dollar Tree. It wasn't their usual product or brand -- I think it was something they must have bought out from some company, dirt cheap. Anyway, it is very sturdy, well constructed, I love it. I had all my recipe cards printed just like you do photos through walmart.

For me, it's really not just about the recipes (they are a nice perk though!), but I love having a little "part" of so many of the great members of this site. Each card really is a unique piece of artwork. I love looking at it.

I'm like Brandie, I just love everybodys art work. Alot of the recipes for me we don't have the ingredients here in NZ but i'm sure if i did some homework would be able to find a subsitutes. I have made a box that fits the cards and it will fit this years as well. I have shown lots of people and they are so impressed. Its gonna be good to add more to them.

I can't believe it I only started scrappin' last week, thought I'd kind of come here learn a few things and get those tons of boxes of pictures into books. But, I came to the message boards and saw how much fun everyone is having and I want to play too :dancingelephant: ! Yesterday (or should I say last night - just in time to beat the deadline) I uploaded my first LO for the Monday Gift Reaction challenge . I definitely have to be in on the cookie recipe exchange, what would people say if the owner of Pie Heaven Bakery didn't participate in a recipe exchange? I'm thinking about the 12 Days Of Christmas challenge but I'm not quite sure I have enough experience yet - also, do you need to use Microsoft Word to track your challenges or is wordpad ok?

You all are true inspirations! Thank You :i-love-it:

Yeah, but the only thing is my customers usually ask for the same old thing i.e. chocolate chip, peanut butter with the kisses on top --- but I think I have found one that was a hit for my last year's cookie platters.

You work it like you do your layout. Cept you start with a 4x6 image. You can do a search in the gallery for "Recipe" and see some that have been done. You could do things like have a picture, or not.... have embellisments or not... you could put down a back ground, add text and leave it.... its all up to you!!! Do the search though, you'll see some good ideas.
