momentousangel
1. Happily married to Dan for... Oh my gosh isn't the guy supposed to have to figure out the math for it, just teasing, for 7 years we've be married. 2. We have 6 children, 3 girls & 3 boys, and No, we are nothing at all like the "Brady bunch" 3. Actually, I became a mother at 16, so it delayed my education. I ended up going back to obtain my G.E.D. in December of 2000 & had planned on going to the local community college, but then had a very difficult high risk pregnancy and have since delayed the college thing until our baby is older. 4. Originally I am from Indiana, born there and raised there most of my life, but have also lived in Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio & now live here to Washington State. 5. I'm definately a full-time mother of my 6, yes I did say 6, children, as well as a published author. However, I'm also known to play as secretary when dh needs calls made, papers copied, when the children (or dh) are sick I'm also known as nurse, lol. 6. My 9 favorite emoticons? Wow, there are so many out there, but they are all useless to me minus the ones here at scrapgirls, . So my most favorite 9 are: 7. Wow, my weaknesses? Well, those would be when my children give me what we call the "puppy dog pout" meaning a sad face to get their way (unfortunately, they know it works every time). Another of my weaknesses is my love for collecting postcards, dolls, angels & teddy bears. Another of my weaknesses is Sunkist soda. One of my most favorite weaknesses is when I'm upset about something and hearing my dh say "Why Coitanly" (like one of the "Three Stooges" I don't know what it is but it surely does make me laugh so hard that I can't help not being upset anymore. 8. Do I really have to choose just one? Well, my favorite is digital, of course, no mess to clean up later and I can get more lo's done alot faster. I mean it's like, I can print the digital elements and use them for paper lo's later on, so how could anyone go wrong with digital? 9. Oh my, after seeing a lo of a little island, I'd surely love to be on that little island in 9 years away from everyone, (Especially considering the kids will all either be, or nearly be, teenagers, . Seriously though, I'd love to have a few more books published and I'd love to be on our own land, lots of acres for horses would be just perfect. Guest wings
Here's mine... 1. Marital Status? I've been married for 18+ years to Reid. 2. Kids? We have four boys: twin 2-year olds, a 6 year old, and an almost-12 year old. We won't be having any more--I had a hysterectomy last December. 3. School or College? Michigan Techological University, B.S. in Scientific & Technical Communication with a concentration in Computer Science (way back in 1983) 4. State (or Country) you are from? Michigan (but I've lived in Texas for exactly half of my life) 5. What do you do for a living? I worked at Texas Instruments for 16+ years, and now I stay at home with the kids. 6. What are your 9 favorite emoticons? List them here! I don't usually like to use emoticons, but these are the ones I like... (I love Tinkerbell. She's surrounded by boys, and I'm convinced that she can talk but that none of them listen to her.) 7. Weakness? Oh, boy. So many: Too much fast food when I'm out running around with the kids, too much caffeine and chocolate, overbuying craft supplies (including tons of paper that I'll probably never use), interrupting people, not keeping in touch with people, sending presents and cards late (or not at all), giving into being shy when I should try to be friendlier to people, procrastinating, being inappropriately funny, and the pool boy (JK on the last one), I let whining drive me nuts, I worry to much about my (lack of) looks, I'm always WAY behind on housework, I do my own thing without talking to other people first, and I complain too much. Is that enough? 8. Paper or digi? Definitely digital. My bible study group recently finished a Beth Moore study called "Living Beyond Yourself." Beth is beyond dynamic--she describes her- self as a living quotation mark. I guess I am an ellipsis--you know, dot-dot-dot-- I'm fluid and make lots of changes. So, I love the versatility of digital, where I can easily change size, color, font, shape etc. without feeling guilty about wasting supplies! 9. Where do you want to be in 9 years? I'm not sure. I hope I will have a friendly relationship with my oldest son, who should be graduated from college and working happily by then; I hope we're all strong and healthy; I think I'd like to have a tree or landscaping business. I'd like to get a master's in Horticulture from Texas A&M. I hope I'm doing what God wants me to do.
