I'd like to pick up a new scanner during the after Christmas sales...any suggestion on a good one? I'd like it to be able to separate images when they are scanned together, and also the ability to do slides to some degree. Also, I see that Kodak now has an all-in-one printer/scanner...anyone have any experience in this?
Thanks!

I recently replaced my scanner and got the Epson Perfection V350 Photo. I'm very pleased with it. I loved my other Epson scanner and they have improved it. It sits smaller on the desk, too! (Same scanning area.)

Be careful of those "all in one" jobs because you can end up with results that don't have high enough quality. (Believe me, I've seen some bad scan jobs and it is sad...) The Epson will scan them in all full resolution.

I found mine at Circuit City, I believe. Man... good scanners are hard to find now. I think it is because most people are getting digital cameras!

Thanks Ro...will check it out! I agree, scanners aren't nearly as common...but I do like having them 'just in case' lol.
