I'm Not Sure Where To Ask You To Direct This Prayer...

Maybe we can just pray that whatever God has in store for my grandmother, that He just send a sign or something....and have it happen quickly to relieve my mom, my aunt and my poor grandmother from the agony that they are all going through.
Thanks ladies. I told my mom I'd say 100 prayers, but I realized I could get alot more help if I asked you all to join in.
((((((hugs))))))

I too will be praying for the Lord's will to be done for your grandmother. I do hope they've been able to help her with the pain.

Sometimes the elderly know when it is their time, and sometimes they just get down on themselves when they are hurting and in pain. I will continue to pray that the Holy Spirit comes to your grandmother to help her understand what is going on in this situation.

Praying for God's will for your grandmother and that everyone involved will have the strength they need to accept it! When you have a strong belief in the afterlife, sometimes having a loved one move on is a blessing.

I know that sometimes the elderly unconciously hold on because they feel the people they will be leaving behind need them and/or don't want them to go. My grandmother (who was already comotose at the time) was holding on. After we all got there with her and had been sitting with her for a while my Mom told her it was okay. That we were all there and we would be fine. She held her hand and five minutes later she had passed. That's not always the case but sometimes it is. You'll know if that time comes because the Holy Spirit will tell you.
Continued prayers and giant hugs for you and your family.

I appreciate you all. As hard as it is, it is comforting to have you all behind me.
My grandmother has had such an impact on my life. I am lucky to still have her around, although the past 12 months she has really deteriorated to the point that I can't even call to talk with her anymore. But I still send her flowers and cards and photos. I think right now I have accepted the inevitable...but my mom still has not been able to come to grips with her failing health. I worry most about her.
Thanks again, ladies. You mean the world to me and more.
Theresa

My friends Father recently died of cancer - it was well advanced before the doctors recognized it and his time was very short. What he told his family was that he was lucky because he was in a "win win" situation. If he stayed with them here on earth he was near the ones he loved - if he moved on he was reunited with his wife and with his Lord.
What a blessing it is to know the Lord and know that death is not only an end but a beginning.
