I just bought PSE 4.0 and realized I can't do anything without digital paper. Go figure! I tried to download the freebies but I am having difficulties. Your going to love it here everyone is so nice....WHen you click on the freebie you want scroll down and you should see a download button on the bottom of the page...Use that to download...Also be sure to check out what is in the boutique tons and tons of stuff....and also the boutique may be a little slow!! And, the boutique has been slow/having trouble loading for the past day or so, but I know the support people are working on it. If you can't download the freebies right now, wait a while and try again. Tons of people use PSE here, so if you have questions, just ask and we'll be happy to help you out! We have been experiencing some technical difficulties with the boutique the last couple of days, but hold tight, I promise once you are in there you will love what you see. One strong recommendation I would make to you is to look at the Tutorials in the University and download the free ebook 15 Things you need to know. And then once you are able to shop the boutique, pick up Ro's ebook Scrapbook Secrets Revealed for PSE. It is an invaluable tool and really teaches you all of the things you need to get right into digi scrapping. I tried downloading the free tutorial "15 Things..." but it seems it wants to take 2 hours to download. I've never had any problem downloading before. Any ideas on why so long? There has been some issues with the botique server this weekend and since today is a holiday we have to wait till tomorrow for the support people to work on it! But I'm sure it will be up and running in no time!! Meanwhile...you should check out the Scrapgirls University for some great tutorials!! Being a new member and all, I didn't know if this was normal. Anyhow, I went to the University to download the book titled, "15 Things..." It is taking forever and a day to download. Do you think it has to do with the botique server? Also, do you have any other suggestions on where I can get some free downloads so I can begin scrappin'? I'm can't wait to start! angleigh Posted January 1, 2008 Share Posted January 1, 2008 Alethea The problems with the downloading and shopping in the store is due to the server. We are trying hard to get that fixed, but we are at the mercy of your support team who are out for the holiday. We are saying lots of prayers that this is all fixed and ready to go tomorrow. Then you'll be able to download everthing, including the 15 Things like normal. I would suggest today looking through the University and maybe printing out some tutorials that look interesting to you. We've got a ton of information there and this might be a good time to start sorting out and orgainizing tutorials. I'm sure these girls will have alot of ideas on how they do it. Myself though, I copy and paste them into word then save them named so I know what the tutorial is regarding. That way I can just open my folder and search for it.
