Help
Well, after a few scary days, they took my grandma off everything she was on and started remedicating her slowly, starting with the meds she NEEDED...and she slowly regained strength and her mental being. Now they have transfered her into a therapy rehab center will she will stay the next 3 months or so until her shoulder and pelvis heals. She isn't walking by herself, but my mom says she is much better than how she was on Christmas Day. She is also grateful that she now has 24 hour care which is paid for with insurance....everyone can get some sleep now in our family! I just want to thank you all for your prayers and support. It appears that God has decided my grandma will hang with us for a bit longer!!

What a blessing Theresa! I am so glad to hear that she is doing better and getting awesome care! I will be praying for fast healing of her bones and increased mental wellness! Also blessings for your mother and all your family as they deal with all the changes! I'm just so glad to hear the good news!!

I'm so happy to hear that! Especially the part about the 24 hour round the clock care - paid for by insurance. What a blessing that is for your mother and her sister. Three months in rehab can work wonders. I'll continue to keep her in my prayers.

God IS good!
I'm so glad that it seems that someone cares enough about your grandmother to listen to what was wrong and try to fix it. And I'm glad that the insurance is helping. So often the family caregivers suffer so much when trying to take care of someone that they become ill themselves. Here's hoping and praying that EVERYONE can recover now.
