A Little Prayer Please...... Our Dog Got Hit By A Car (she's home from surgery)

I've never had to ask prayer from you all before, but last night when we came home we went out to check on our precious dog Gracie and she couldn't come up the stairs. It looks like she got hit by a car (that's the only thing I can figure) She just has one little scrape, but very little control over her back end. She can move around a little on 3 legs, so I'm hoping that it's only a broken leg instead of something worse, like her pelvis. I used to work for a vet, so of course my mind is going wild..All I can see is pins and surgery, which our pocket books cannot afford right now. We have an appointment to take her in later this afternoon for x-rays at 3:30. So could you all just say a little prayer for Gracie and my girls (they are really upset)

Oh the poor thing. I hope the vet visit goes well and they have a simple answer/fix for her. Hugs to you Launa!

Oh i will pray for you!!!

I have had several issues recently with my cats. When i expressed that i could not afford much, the Vet was very dilligent at finding alternatives for me. She was so great, that we didnt have to remove my cats eye. So hopefully they will help you so that Gracie can live comfortably with you for many more years!

Oh Launa, my chest hurts for you. Our 4-legged family members are so precious and it is so sad when they are hurt. I'm praying for Gracie's quick recovery. TRY not to go to the dark side. Working for a vet, you also know all the miracle ways that dogs come out of these things. They can synthesize all kinds of working solutions and joints all by themselves. Maybe she just got banged up and is really sore. Maybe it's just a joint out of whack...

Prayers...keep us informed! I have to go hug my doggies and kitty right now!

OK, it's after 3:30... I begin the semi-impatient waiting to hear about poor Gracie. Hopefully, they gave you a little Rimadyl and sent you home saying, "She'll be fine, she'll just be sore for a few days." Have my fingers crossed for you all.

Oh I was hoping when I read this she would have updated us by now:-( I hope poor Gracie is o.k.
I just lost my dog last August so it is still fresh for me. Please let us know when you can.
