Gracie's hip was dislocated, which sounds like a quick fix, but in reality it will take surgery. They said she would never be 100% but I am not going to believe that! She is a young and very athletic dog! She is staying with the vet tonight (the girls really hate that) and they will do the surgery tomorrow (no small price tag either!) And she should be home to start her recovery by tomorrow night. They said it should take about 3 months.
So still be saying some prayers for the surgery and a 100% recovery! Thank you so much for all your Love and support! You all truely are my family! I felt your prayers all day!

Don't let the nay-sayers get you down. A big hearted dog with a loving family can heal most anything. It will be like you can't even tell before too long. (I have a dog that has lived through 3 different times of the vets say "I just don't know if he'll make it through this one." And he has every time.) Your Gracie is going to make it through with the loving TLC that only your family can give her. I hope you and your girls can stay calm through the night. Gracie is being kept comfortable. Keep us updated after the surgery and getting her home if you're up to it!
Hugs to you and your family (including the 4-legged variety)

I'm so sorry to hear about Gracie. I was so hoping it would be something more simple, but I'm also glad she will be getting the care she needs. As you say, she's young, after her surgery, she'll bounce right back! With a loving family, dogs make wonderful recoveries! I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers today.

This Beautiful Signature by Jennifer Z. Thanks!
