scrappydo
What does it mean when there is a question mark next to a topic title? Also what does "warn" mean? I'm not a complete dolt, but I'm not very familiar with message boards at all.
dinny
About the "warn", this is what was on the other thread ladies - Artsy wrote "I was wondering the same thing. It shows up for me too when I'm logged in. Come to find out it shows up for everyone. So I asked Ro about it, and here's what it means. Beside the warning its says 0%...that means that you had 0 warnings about being a trouble maker. It's a new feature that will help as the board gets busy. It's a way to warn people if their behavior needs to change. If we end up with some rude people, it's a way for the Forum Monitor to warn them. So there you have it. It's to keep us in line. " The question mark... I think they are just questions. Have fun getting used to the board, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
scrappydo
Thanks, I thought that maybe I had done something that I wasn't supposed to!
Betsy
The question mark is just an icon users can place there when they are asking a question in their original therad post. So If I was asking for help with, say, inking or something, I could use the question mark - it just helps readers know I'm asking a question, not raving about a product or whatever. And yep, everyone see their own "warn" bar, but no one else does.
