Help
A short while ago I received a call saying my neice and nephews father was admitted to the hospital. He has a history of heart problems and was having chest pains. I just talked to him personally and was told there is some blood clots that are causing the chest pains, this news isn't good, which is why he was admitted. My neice and nephew are on their way out here where I'm hoping the kids will all help to keep them busy. Please pray for their father and them as well. Prayer is a powerful thing so please take a moment to add everyone to your prayers. Thanks.

To have a friend is to have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an extra pair of legs when yours are too weak to stand alone...
I have been living buried in books and writing classes... as an added note I must say that it is rather scary when you start dreaming and all you can see within your dreams is words floating everywhere!

We just with through Heart issues this year with my dear father in law. I definitely will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Oh Valerie - heart issues are very scary and blood clot issues are even scarier, my Mother had a blood clot that was so big (they now use her case as the teaching model at the hospital) that it was blocking partial lungs/heart --- we were all so scared, but I honestly believe that prayer brought her through (and at that point I didn't have this wonderful network of people to help out) and she is healthier today than I have seen her in years. So count on me to be sending up lots and lots of prayers for everyone involved.

For now it seems we are all left sitting and waiting. A short while ago there was some talk about Carl being moved to ICU. When I spoke to him he didn't sound good at all and since that time the phone in his room has remained at a busy signal. I'm thinking that it was taken off the receiver so he would actually try to get some rest. He was really worried about the children, as noone was home to meet them after school. I reassured him they were both doing fine and were on their way to spend the night here and that we would do our best to ensure they are kept busy. Continued prayers are gratefully appreciated.

As of this morning Carl has had a heart attack. The doctor said he is trying to get the clots to dissolve as quickly as possible, with the clots being there he is in a scary situation of facing more heart attacks. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
