OH! No what have I done now. This is the third message today I just can't catch a break today.

Using CPS3 and trying to re-locate the brush picker that resides in the upper tool bar in the third section from the left that is a drop-down of all your brushes and allows you to choose your brush and get the flyout menu that will allow you to use the brushes. For some reason during earlier sessions I have hit something that will not allow that to show. Bummer had a really good layout going now can't use the brushes to finish.

Can someone help. I attempted to add a picture of the screen here but but it would not let me. It might allow an upload I can try that.

Please let me know if someone can help.

Grammie in distress.

Marilyn,
I think you closed the brush box to reopen go to the tool bar then to window then click on brush this will reopen the brush box...

with photoshop always more than one way to do things on brush tool bar all the way to the right there is a square file looking thing with three white lines on it ... open it ... and again it's the brush palette(sp)

hope this helps
Have a Great Day!!!

Hey Marilyn, try hitting F5.
You can also go to: >Window >Brushes.

Does this fix you up?

The box is up but inactive not highlighted. Not useable! I just restarted the computer thinking it might help to get the brushes up and running again but NQ!

Make sure your brush tool is selected (type B).

Okay after a day of frustration we went back one day and restored the program and problem solved. Now I need more help to find instructions for SS tool shapes. Wish there was a
search function on the university tut page. Need to cut tags out of paper. I bet someone knows how to do this and can point me to the instructions. Please.
Seems like today is just one thing after another that I can't find, or don't know how to do. This last one has eluded me for years, time to get down to business and learn how to use the stuff I have.

Hopeful! Marilyn
