Well , I thought I was getting better from the accident,and I thought the stiffness and pain was from our damp weather. But, today I lost all sensation in my right leg and developed extremely sharp pains in my lower lumbar region and into the hips. It is starting to go down the leg as of tonight.
I have a Drs. appt on Friday for the followup from the auto accident, and I believe we are doing the MRI at that time too. If you all could please pray for me, to be honest, I don't even know what to ask you to pray for ! At this point, I am really at my wits end, and starting to feel that dreaded " this is the best it will ever be" syndrome ! So, I am in bed on my side taking the morphine and other meds to try and get the pain to a managable level . I think if I could get some relief even if its for an hour, that would be great ! No matter where I go or what I do the pain is there constantly !!!!!
Thanks for all the prayers from everyone , they truly have gotten me through some rough times !!!!!

Hang in there, okay? I've been in several big car accidents and have been banged up plenty. The last one nearly killed me and it took a couple of years to get better (including a surgery), but I did. I pray that you will get better, too!

My heart goes out to you because I know how it feels to think it is never going to end.

Good morning everyone. Thanks so much for the awesome response! I can feel all the prayers and hugs ... This means so much . I slept about 2 - 3hrs. last night , which was a good outcome considering. Yes, we have the offical time of landing. Jonathan arrives in Colorado Springs on Jan., 12th at 3pm !!!
Talk about excitement !!! Just the thought that he'll be on American soil is so reassuring ! He should be home with us the week after next. he's going to Las Vegas with my DH for a work weekend ! I am unable to attend so Jonathan is taking my place ! (Oh well, next month, maybe I'll be able to go) I know they will have a blast !!!!! I will let you all know what the Drs. and the MRI says on Friday, Thanks so much , I just love my family here at Scrap Girls. God has and will continue to Bless the hands of those who labor so hard to make this place what it is !!!!! I'll see you all around the MB !

MaryJo you Will get Better! It is awful now because obviously your body was injured and it is trying to protect itself and heal itself and it is a painful process. I don't know how you were injured in the car but the numbing sounds like you may have some inflammation that could be putting pressure on your nerves. I have had injuries from a car accident and that is what happened to me. The numbness goes away!! Don't worry too much...I know it's almost impossible not to, but try to believe that this Absolutely will get better!! I'm glad to hear you will be seeing your doctor soon. Just make sure you tell the doctor about Each and Every pain and problem!!
You will be in my thoughts.

If it gets too difficult to "sit" in a regular office chair, try a "ball" chair... look it up online. Might make a real difference in your nerve relays.
That's gotta hurt a lot, but hoping and praying it gets better soon...

I am praying that you get QUICK relief from your pain. I have a friend who was in an accident a while ago. She has been in a lot of pain since then. I can totally understand what you're going through.
