Way to go, Nichole. My husband quit a few years ago, but I just wasn't ready until this past October. I'm starting my 4th month as a nonsmoker (after 30+ years of smoking) and am amazed at how much better I feel in just 3 months!! Hang in there when it gets tough. I honestly think it's worth it.

I know what you mean! I've been "wanting" to quit for at least a year now. But, you know how it is..."I just bough 3 packs" or "We're having a family get together and I just NEED to be able to smoke" I don't think I was really ready to quit. Honestly, my biggest motivation is refusing to pay $5.00 per pack! I'm such a cheapskate (some say Thrifty
) I hate spending money and avoid it at all costs. So, since this was the last thing we could trim from our budget...out it goes!I feel great now..can't imagine how much better I'll feel in 4 months! I'm excited!!! Good for you for quitting!!! It is definately worth it!

just a quick update!
I have officially quit smoking....one month now! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU to everyone that has supported and prayed for me! I feel like a different person and it is great!
I just got back from a mini-vacation for a wedding...so I'll be around more to play!

Hey, 1 month! Well done. Keep up the good work. I've never been a smoker, but know plenty who once struggled with it. You'll be needing all the encouragement you can get - love to hear more reports.
