We got home less than two hours ago. Isaiah is in his bed, Janae is sleeping on the couch and Bryan and I are in tears. I'll tell you why. I told Bryan that before we went to bed that I felt I really should tell all of you that we are home. So many of you have cheered us on during this journey and prayed us through tough times that you deserved to know we are all home safe and sound. Bryan agreed. So I get to the Scrap Girls website and the first thing that pops up are my messages. I only got to read one tonight. It was from Patty Anne letting me know that there was a virtual baby shower. I clicked on the link and Bryan and I just cried. I CANNOT believe what so many of you did!!! I didn't even get to really look yet, but we were both so overwhelmed. I'm still shaking from the surpise. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts! I PROMISE to look at EACH and EVERY layout. Actually, I'm thinking I'll be printing each and every layout. What a beautiful treasure. Now I'm wishing I would've posted a few more photos of my family.
Janae did fairly well on her trip home - just a couple of power struggles - mostly over seat belts.

Within an hour she was playing with Isaiah and saying his name, so he's pretty thrilled about that. There is already a bit of jealously on both their parts, but that's to be expected. They both slept all three hours of the drive from the airport. YAY!!
I'll post all the gorey details of the trip when naptime arrives tomorrow (unless I'm sleeping, too). I need to write as much of it down as I can remember since we didn't have internet access (we ended up at a different hotel) while in Haiti. Ah, but that is part of the story that will have to wait. I think it's time to acquit Janae with her crib (might not be fun for a bit).
I so love my Scrap Girls friends! I wish I could come and hug every one of you right now. Really.
