A Long Awaited Homecoming! The boy is finally home!!!!

Here is the first LO I've done ! Jonathan got home last night around 11pm !!!! There was all kinds of excitement here on Bellevue Terrace !!
He looks great and he is in excellent health. I have him home until Feb.16th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are tons of photos so far and its not been 24 hrs ! I wanted to share this one with you right away. So, I finished the LO before I posted that he was home. I thought it made it kind of special. I hope you enjoy it.

We sat up and just talked all night and then this morning ! We all had so much to catch up on ... So, today we just stayed home and talked some more and then we took a nap ! I was tired out from all that talking... Its so good to have him home. To be able to touch him and just sit in the same room with him.. Even his puppy CJ went crazy when he came in last night. The kids didn't think CJ would remember, but he did and I have the photos to prove it !! It was a touching reunion between man and his best friend....

Everyday until the 16th of February will be spent with him ! We are not letting him out of our sights. Although he did go out tonight with some friends, but thats okay, I'm going to be now anyways !!! lol. The house is just a buzz with the joy of having him home ! Right down to the dogs !!! I will show him all the posts tomorrow, he'll be thrilled and embarrassed.....

MaryJo, I had to leave some love on your layout first then read through this thread, I finally had my eyes dried until I got to the part about his dog and YEP here I sit with tears again (happy tears indeed)! I'm looking forward to seeing those layouts of Jonathan and CJ.

You're right MaryJo I need to get out my pictures of greeting the troops in Bangor and do a couple of layouts of those wonderful smiling faces when their standing on American soil again! My nephew (niece's husband) just returned from his 3rd tour in Iraq and it sure was great to give him that first welcome home hug.
