Well,
I am out of meds and my back and hind quarters are just killing me so badly I can barely move (I get meds this afternoon) and then ontop of me taking my dd to school, well...
He - my neighbor -has a big truck and was towing a big trailer on the back of it and we were right behind him and he was not going to fast and he just stopped all of the sudden. HE HIT A GERMAN SHEPARD AND DID NOTHING BUT WATCH HIM COME OUT OF UNDERNEATH HIS TIRES WITH WELL IT WAS SO BAD. I am crying and have been for about 45 minutes because I feel like I should have stopped to help and by the time that I parked my car where I could get out the dog stopped yelping and laid down. He was gone. My daughter mind you wants to know why I am crying and I can not tell her.
I flashed the guy several times and he kept going I finally got close to him and he stopped and when he did..well..his tires had left bloody 3 foot of tire marks and I just lost it.
I know the neighbor whose this dog belongs too and I did not have enough guts to go and tell them.
I am so ashamed of myself for not being strong enough, it reminds me of how my dog got killed. I am sorry for all the ranting.

Oh that's so sad! The poor dog. It sounds like he didn't suffer much tho. Don't beat yourself up - you didn't do anything wrong.
I hope your day gets better and you start feeling better!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Melissa. I'm so sorry that you had to see that incident but I'm glad your daughter didn't. I hope you can get some relief from your pain soon.

I'm sorry your day is going so bad! It sounds like there was nothing you could do for the dog. I'm glad your daughter didn't see it. Maybe you could leave your neighbor a note, so at least they know what happened to their dog? I don't think I would be able to tell them either.

I'm so sorry you're having a rough day. Take a deep breath, exhale & blow out all the badness of your day, take in a deep breath, and meditate on something really GOOD in your life. And I will pray that you get meds soon! It's hard to be in both physical and emotional pain. Hang in there, sweetie.

I can't believe the truck didn't stop!!! I would be so upset to witness that. I'm so glad your dd doesn't know what happened. I'm so sorry...
