I've been thinking about joining Weight Watchers for a couple of months, but reading all of your comments pushed me over the edge. Signed up yesterday. First goal- 27 lbs.

So, are you allowed to have more than 3 servings of dairy? Is it OK if you don't use all your points or will that screw you up later?

Sounds like a good move. I have a friend who swears by weight watchers - it helped her loose the weight and now helps her keep it off. Wish you the best!

Good for you! You can have more dairy if you want to- your bones will thank you. :D Don't go consistently under your points or it can mess with your metabolism. Some days I eat really filling foods and might not get them all in, but you'll want to use your daily points. You don't have to use your weekly 35 though. Did you go to the meetings, or are you doing it online? Congratulations on getting started.

Hey there! I went to the center's meeting but it was a madhouse. The day I went was a mom and tots class, so I'll switch days next week so I can get my questions answered. Thanks for your help. I did better with the points yesterday, and I am eating healthier, but it seems like a lot of food! I guess I'll know next week how I'm doing! One of my friends (actual, not cyber) is going to re-start next week so that will be kind of fun. She made lifetime, but has regained some weight due to a knee injuries. Thanks for your help and support.

Good for you Kaye. Although I have never joined, I know Weight Watchers is a good program.

good luck on your journey and before you know it the pounds will be slipping off, try to keep focussed and do a little exercise every day even if its walking up and down stairs for few mins evry day to begin with or outside in gods clean air if you live in an agreeable climate right now.[lashing rain here in scotland and freezing cold]

take care and keep us informed of your progress hun xx
