Hi girls! I just had to post a message. Some of you might remember my posts about our struggle with trying to decide whether or not to go for baby #4. Well, about a month ago I posted that DH and I decided to have my IUD taken out and to turn it over to the Lord. Well, guess, what? I just took a test tonight and it appears that the Lord has seen fit to bless us one more time. It took us years to get pregnant with our first, we went to fertility specialists for the second and the third was a surprise blessing. When we decided to go for #4 neither of us thought it would happen so fast. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. Only my DH knows ( although I know I will have to tell my sister soon- she has been keeping tabs on me ever since I told her we were trying). I just had to tell you guys though. I really feel like you are all such a blessing to me and that your posts, even if they aren't specifically to me, help me to hear my inner voice. Had to share my news with the "scrap sisters"!
Jenn

Isn't it weird how once you stop trying so hard, it seems like it happens faster? You hear so many stories about couples going through years of infertility treatments, and then once they stop, they conceive without really trying. We tried for 4 years, and were finally told that I would never get pregnant. We gave up and adopted our oldest son-our first miracle. Then, 3 years later, I had a hysterectomy scheduled, and they did a routine pregnancy test-to which I said, "fat chance!" 8 months later, our second son was born! (The hysterectomy waited another year! :P )

Congratulations on your blessing!

Oh Jenn, I am so happy for you. I know that you've been on an emotional ride with this, but you gave it to God and he has SO Blessed you again. It is such wonderful news. You'll be making plans for the changes in your life by tomorrow, I bet. Congratulations to you and your growing family! Blessings abound indeed!

YAY Jenn! I'm in awe of all of the families here that have more than two kids. I'm going crazy with just my two (I was already heading that direction with my first). And I think the reason I never got pregnant was because God knew I was scared of infants. :D

I pray you have a wonderful pregnancy!

Hey! I like the term "scrap sisters". It totally describes all of us!

It is safe to say that this must be the timming that the Lord wanted you to have another little one. He knows your heart and knows what is best. He wanted to bless you again and it didn't take Him long to send it your way!

I too was shocked at how fast we became pregnant with our third......first try......

Anyway, I am so happy for you, but I also know that overwhelmed feeling you mentiond. Just try to relax and enjoy the pregnancy because it is a wonderful time in life and it will be over before you know it. Then you get to hold that little miracle in your arms and love it with all your heart.....

Congratulations!

Congratulations! What a wonderful way to start the new year. We have four, and I have to say that the fourth one is the easiest. It helps that my oldest is 8 years older than my youngest, but it is far easier adding #4 than it was adding #2 or even #3. More hands to help. My only advice is to start training your oldest in whatever chores she/he is capable of now! LOL! Even older ones playing with younger ones to keep them occupied is a huge blessing by the time #4 comes along.

What do your other children think? I hope this will be a wonderful year of anticipation and planning for all of you!

OH Jenn that's so fantasmagorical, as I know that you were not quite sure what you wanted to do and it was eating away at you. You put your faith in G-d and he showed you the way.

In Jewish tradition we wish a newly pregnant woman 'b'shaa tova' which means.. at the best hour...meaning sorta that may your baby come when it is due to come, healthy, happy and with love and so to you dear Jenn, and your dh, we wish you a b'shaa tova and all the joy the next 8 or so months will bring you.

so happy for you honey
