Hi, I bougth the Scrap Simple club and i did't know how I can do to use the photo masks. Tks! :blondmoment:

 

I'm interested in an answer to this too Ana.So thought I would BTT

I'm assuming you use a clipping mask but it will be interesting to hear what others think

Ana,

 

Im bumping this up, hoping someone will see your plea.

 

I know that with photoshop its something like....

 

your photo on the top layer

your mat on the bottom

and then you apply a clipping mask? does that make sense?

 

if not... lets get a CS3 user to come help you!

Yes that's exactly how you do it for CS3 to Angela.....You put your mask under your photo then hit ctrl - Alt - G and clip the photo to the mask. They also make some great mats or frames if you play with them, clipping papers to them and etc. just play! You'll love them!! Also see yesterdays newsletter for some more ideas with the club ingredients!! HTH :D

That's what I did when I used them because I wanted a kind of scratchy look to the photo. I had the mask on a layer then the photo on a layer above it and then ctrl+g to group them. I then put a whitey grey rectangle the same size as the photo on a layer under the photo mask.
