Oh, Gina! Wow! God must really think you're pretty special! I've always known that I couldn't be a foster parent. I attach to kids so quickly. It takes a real gift to do what you are doing - and six kids at once! I sure hope it all works out for good for these kids. At least they get to hang out with great people for a while.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Here is the latest update. I just got off the phone with the kids caseworker and I'm really thrilled for them. The "aunt and uncle" who want them are actually a great aunt and uncle, and we know them! They deliver meals on wheels two days a week at the senior center where we volunteer. I don't know them real well, but they are good, dependable Christian people and I know they will love and care for these kids. The caseworker is going out to their home this morning and if all is in order they will court order the kids into the new home this afternoon.

That's just amazing - I wasn't aware of that about Gina. What a big, generous and loving heart she must have! I hope things go well for her and her family and for these children that seem to have such a great need.

Wow Gina! I am so impressed with your ability to serve. The Lord places all kinds of people here on earth to do his many jobs but I am in awe of people like you. I am glad that you are able to share your heart and home with kids that are in need. What a wonderful thing. I pray that the aunt and uncle's home checks out and that the children can be with their family. It is great to know that when kids are in need there are nice, lving people waiting to help them. We'll keep those prayers coming Gina, that the Lord see fit to award custody to the Aunt and Uncle and that this precious kids get the help they are going to need - moving from a bad environment to a GREAT Christian home. I'm so glad that you know the couple, that must make you feel so much better about giving them away. Blessings to your family and to their's - they have a Huge Task ahead of them becoming parents to 6 new Kids, but the Lord must believe they can handle this! How wonderful they must be to step up to this task!

A huge thank you to all of you for the prayers and well wishes. Here is the outcome: The kids will be going to live with their great Aunt and Uncle in the morning. Apparently these people knew the situation and were already trying to get the kids, They can't wait to welcome them into their home and if the roads weren't so treacherous they would come for them tonight. Prayers answered, much rejoycing and thanks going up to heaven tonight.
