Congratulations! I'm glad you didn't put it off, it would have made you more anxious! I'm having 4 teeth pulled soon, and your post really helps me stay calm for it!

Good for you Mary. Not all dentist are bad. Personally never been to a bad one. I think most of them are great. My daughter loved her dentist so much a s a child, it made her want to become one. She's well on her way. Hope the pain doesn't last too long.

Isn't it better to have it behind you? Take your meds and "ENJOY ALL THE MALTS YOU WANT"!!!! Perfect medicine.

I'm sorry you've had a bad experience to make the dentist a bad thing. As a kid, I had to have 9 permanent teeth pulled. My dentist was so great, I still had a crush on him after it was all done!

Go enjoy yourself a malt! Cold, Chocolate & Ice cream... just what the nice dentist ordered!

WTG, Mary!

You faced down that Goliath and YOU WON!!! Hurrah!

I actually LOVE my dentists... my fav cousin became a dentist, so that made it easy, in spite
of bad teeth as a teen. My latest fav dentist just retired! NOW what do I do? Start over?

Congrats on the "face lift"! Your smiles will be pleasant!

Congrats Mary!

I still have 3 root canals to do at the same time. BUT I am to darn scared to take that step to the oral surgery. I have three iron thingys inside the well....holes the dentist drilled for the surgeon..and I just can not do it. I wish I had your strength Mary!

Good job for getting it over and done with! Most of the time the worst part is the anxiety about getting it done, so we just put it off and let our anxiety grow! I hope the pain has eased by today.
