Help
I just found out that a good friend of mine found his sister and sister's husband dead in their home this morning. I don't know the details yet. A small comment on the radio was that the two were found murdered. He just lost his Dad about a year ago. He was very close to his sister. That was the last of his family.
I just feel awful for him.
You never know what life holds for you, or when your time will come.
I've been praying for him. I know his sister and husband were saved.

Oh my goodness Charlene! That is so horrible! Thank the Lord they were "saved". I will pray for your friend. I'm so sorry!

Oh my gosh, that is horrible! My heart goes out to your friend, that is just so sad. I hope he is able to find comfort in his friends at this terrible time, my thoughts are with him.

How horrible. I'm so sorry your friend is in this alone and especially sorry that they had to go through what they did. I guess the only comfort he has right now is knowing they're with God. I'll be praying for him.

That is so sad. I feel so bad for your friend. There just isn't a whole lot to say in this type of situation. I will pray for your friend as well.

That is really horrible. They're in a better place, but how tragic for your friend. I'll pray for him.

I saw the local news...still just reporting it as a murder with no details.
A neighbor (on the same street as them) has said they are thinking the son did it.
He was adopted and is in his first year of college.
I spoke to James a bit earlier...just to let him know I'm thinking about him and praying for him.
He asked if he could call me later on.
So awful.
And then, I went to pick my boys up from school and found that the school and other area schools were in lockdown. So, they were a little late getting out. Lockdown because the nearby Wachovia was robbed this afternoon. Well...my boys grandmother (my ex-husband's mom) works at that bank. I called my ex to make sure she was okay. Meanwhile, firetrucks were going by. And then police motorcycles... which that turned out to be a funeral going by.
It's just been an intense day.

My goodness. I hate when things happen like this, not only because people were killed senselessly, but that they were killed by someone they knew and trusted. Ugh. Makes it all the more terrifying. I hope God will be able to speak through you to your friend so you know what to say to help ease his pain, or just being able to listen openly.
