Ok, so the buns not in the oven, but our name has been picked to be the new adoptive parents of a little girl. OMG (again) I dont know how to react right now other than tears of joy, joy, joy, joy. Other than meeting my DH and getting married to him, this is one of the happiest days of my life until we get to meet her for the first time. For those of you who have been thinking of me, thank you so much. Those thoughts have been heard. It has been a LONG journey to getting to this point. For those of you who are foster and adoptive parents, you know EXACTLY what I mean and how I feel. I am speachless. I am having a hard time because I want to tell the world, but at the same time dont want to say anything until we are for sure, for sure, that she is coming home. I am just such an emotional wreck right now. In a good way of course. It actually feels very weird crying for positive reasons. It is a conflict within me. I cry, then I laugh with joy, then thoughts of I cant believe it, back to crying, then back to laughing, etc. LOL So many thoughts are going through my head and it has only been 2 hours since I received the phone call. Our first day going shopping together, fixing up HER space (bedroom), all the fun mother and daughter stuff. OH, going camping............I cant wait to take her camping and taking her out on our rhino (4x4 yamaha golf cart), etc. The list can go on, and on, and on, and on, and on.................LOL Anyway, just wanted to tell all my online girlfriends about my to good to be true announcement.
Thank you for taking this time to read this thread and see me ramble.
I guess the Doc situation, the ink all over my clothes, and the Patriots lossing all in the same day has paid off. LOL

OMG, Congratulations!!!!! I can't imagine how you feel right now, but I am so excited for you! And we all get to be SGA's!!! Oh, thank you so much for sharing this with us. I'll be praying for you and hoping it doesn't take too long for you to get that little girl in your arms!

Oh that's fabulous Tracey!!!!! Congratulations 
I'm a bit uneducated when it comes to adoption... does this mean a pregnant mother has chosen you to adopt the baby she's carrying? Or an agency has chosen you? How does it work? (If you can explain without divulging info that shouldn't be divulged of course
)

I am soooooo happy for you, a couple in our church just got their little adopted miracle this week after 13 years. They are just bubbling over with joy. I know you will too.
