My Turn To Ask For Prayer

I need prayers for finding a new job where I will be happy and respected. I have two kids in college, so staying home is not an option right now, but I feel so broken that I'm not sure I want to deal with a new situation right now.
Thanks, everyone!

You have all my support and my prayers. I was in the same situation years ago - I loved the people I'd worked with for nine years and I even liked the work. But, the organization was terrible and incredibly demoralizing. I struggled and struggled. I knew that you were supposed to have a job before you quit but I was so depressed I couldn't job hunt. I finally quit and trusted that it was the right decision. I did find a job and, after I left, I wondered how I'd lasted so long.
So, good for you for making a decision FOR you. It is so scary and it will be hard - but BELIEVE you did the right thing and trust yourself. I am pulling for you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Good for you thought that you finally made the decison to not put up with it anymore. I'm sure you will find something better.

I pray that you find something soon that feeds you financially, emotionally, creatively & spiritually. I bet once you get "some fresh air to your brain" that you will be completely re-energized! It is amazing what a drain that kind of working environment is on your whole life. I pray that this turns out to be a huge wonderful turning point in your life.

I am sorry about what is happening at work. I will add you to my prayer list. Remember to trust in the Lord, he makes all things possible. I pray that you find a job where people treat you with respect.
I wish that I could have a job here at scrapgirls, everyone here treats you like they are your sisters. It is amazing all the love they show each other!
Talk to you later!

I admire you for standing up for yourself. You can't work where you don't feel respected. Some other company will see promise in you and treat you fairly. I pray that it happens for you very soon.

I think you definitely did the right thing leaving your job. I once read somewhere that sometimes to be successful you have to burn bridges. Meaning, you have to put yourself into a position where you are forced to make a change. When there's no option of going back or giving up, you're forced to reach higher. It sounds like you did exactly that. I really believe that you'll find the strength and courage to find a position that fits you better now that you have to. What you did took tremendous strength and courage so it sounds like you're already moving in the right direction. There's another great expression, "Leap and the net will appear". You took the leap, now hang in there and watch for the net!
Good luck! I'll say a prayer for you to find your way to something better and more deserving of your talents!

You have my prayers! God is certainly going to use you for His glory! When one door shuts, another one opens. Let's pray that it's this next door that will open soon for you.
