As far as the album goes, the state of California makes us do an album if one wants to adopt. I had that done first thing. LOL Now hoping that she likes it.
Tracey, Faith is going to love those, & what fun you will have with her dressing them up. I am so excited for all of you.

We meet her for the first time on Tuesday since tomorrow is a holiday (President's Day). I just subscribed to LifeJournal.com and just went ahead and bought the program for $40. So far I like it a lot. I know I could keep a journal in Word, but I really do like this option better. Today I was a spy.....LOL DH and I have the address of her foster home, so we drove by to see the conditions of her where abouts. We couldnt help it. We needed to see. We could not wait until Tuesday. We just drove by. We were not stalking or staking out the house. LOL I Promise! She is only like 10-15 mins away from us.

That's a sign if I ever heard of one. Her living 10-15 mins away from you guys! It's definitely too ironic!

I will add your family and the beautiful little Faith to my prayer list. And I will be looking for updates in two days. Sometimes holidays fall at just the wrong moments, don't they?

When we adopted our son there was no visiting like you have to do. He was 10 weeks old and we spent a couple of hours with the foster mom and then he was ours. The weird thing was that he was about 100 miles from where we lived, but he was in my DH's hometown and his foster home was two houses away from some of our best friends. They were friends with the foster parents and they had met our son before we had! It's a small world.

I bet you couldn't even sleep last night awaiting this day. Give her hugs from all her aunts here, and please post some more pics of her when you meet her.

Have fun during your visit... as for our meeting with our son... we asked him if we could hold him... if we could hug him... etc... and it worked well for us -- I think he felt in control of the situation... that was one of the most wonderful day in our lives... so just enjoy it...
love to all your family...

TracEy, you are SO normal. I gradually got sicker and sicker the closer to Haiti we got. I couldn't sleep or eat. The day after we picked her up (still in Haiti), I was REALLY sick most of the day. I finally felt better the day after that (the day we flew to Miami). Thankfully, I have an AWESOME DH who managed to take care of both his girls while in Haiti. Mind you, I didn't have ANY of these problems the first time around. Go figure.
I'm going to blame my current stomach issues on sympathy pains for you so it makes me feel better. Can't wait for more news tomorrow!
