I am really bummed though because more than half the pictures did not come out. There was to much movement going on and the photos are blurry. I dont know how to change my appeture settings so the picture taking does not lag as much. I try to put it on the sport setting and it makes the picture way to dark. I have no idea how to work my camera and that is sad because there are tons of photos that would have come out really good if only they were not blurry. {{sad face}} Oh well, there is always tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day after that, yada, yada, yada. {{back to my smiley face}}

Thanks for the update Tracey. I've been thinking about this all day:). When does she get to go home with you? How many visits do you have together? So many questions:). I've never known anyone that has done this, I think it's awesome:)

That is wonderful Tracey! I've found the automatic setting with the flash gets the best indoor shots with a point and shoot camera if there isn't much natural light in the room. Okay, sometimes manual with an exposure adjustment- but I don't try to get too tricky with it. Now when I'm using the DSLR and a great lens, it is different. :)

Hi Tracey, I hope you're going to get some sleep tonight! You must be bouncing with joy! Little Faith is just beautiful. Along with her beautiful eyes, she has a pretty little sweetheart mouth! Wow! I hope she likes having her picture taken since she will no doubt have her mommy's hand glued to the camera!

Thanks for sharing this moment with all of us SGAs.

She was excited. It's hard to take a picture of an excited kid. I've got a Kodak. It has a party setting. Sometimes that works better, but I still have to edit them in PSE. And in a few days, she's be used to and start posing for you.

Wow, Tracey I am so pleased for you all, it looks like Faith took to you straight away. With the Camera thing, just keep clicking you will get a lot of bad ones, but the good ones will be worth it :) There is always a delay with non SLR digitals, some are worse than others.

I'm so glad it went well for you Tracey. Faith looks comfortable with both of you. That's an accomplishment for a one hour visit. She's a doll and really does look like she belongs to you. I know you can't wait to enjoy the longer visits with her and to bring her home. We will keep you in our prayers.
