Help
I just received the news that a little girl I have been working with for the past 7 years, Ashley, lost her battle with her disease. She was 13. She was courageous and strong willed, defying the odds for a long time. She always had a smile for you, no matter how much work it took for her to give it to you. She was the only child of a very dedicated parents and my heart breaks for them. I ask you to please pray for comfort for them in this time of tremendous, unexpected loss. Thank you Scrapgirls.
Monday-
I just want to say THANK YOU with all of my heart for your thoughts and prayers. I couldn't help but to think of you all when the priest mentioned people from all over praying for Ashley and her family. (How could I not!!) A Sincere thanks.

It is so truly heartbreaking to think of any child losing their life. The only solace is that her place in heaven will be wonderful. You and her family and loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers!

This is such sad news for this poor family, and I will pray for them.
It is such a same that such young and sweet children have to die so young.......May God be with the parents and rest of the family to bring them to peace about it all.

That makes me so sad! I have a 13 year old daughter, and my younger sister died from cancer when she was 15 so this news hit close to home. It's so sad. I'll pray for the parents and extended family. How sad for them that they don't have any other children.
Wife to my sweetheart for 13 wonderful years. Mother to three darling children, two girls and a boy.

Oh Kim I just saw this and I am so sorry !! I will definitely be in prayer, especially since it has happened to a family in our community, (I think). What a terrible tragedy when a child dies from a serious disease ! I will pray for you as well , since I know it has hit you hard also !! Hang in there kiddo !
