Help
Well I got the best news today. Jonathan called and he has been made Squad leader until June and at that time he's being promoted to E-6 and then he's being names as Platoon leader Sgt. or something like that. He uses so many initials I can't follow him sometimes. A few Sgts. have retired or didn't re enlist and so he was given these new positions. He's really excited about it and just loving the work. Apparently he's been working with his squad all week and loving every minute of it.
I just thought I would share some good news for a change . And best of all he's coming home for Easter Weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

Congratulations, Jonathan! He's moving up the ladder quickly for such a young guy! Dh talks about things with too many initials, too, and I can never keep up. I'm glad Jonathan is excited about his new responsibilities. It's a lot more to worry about and take care of. And how excited are you with him coming home in a month? I'm excited for you!

Wahoo!! Not just one reason to celebrate, but two!! What a nice double announcement!! E-6 is awesome ... I bet you're walking around with your chest puffed out for him ... and rightly so!! Congratulations to the both of you ... because we all know that he is where he is because of the wonderful support he gets from his family back home!! Well - running out of superlatives here and starting to waffle, but just wanted to say ... wahoo!!
