I just wanted to say that todays muse from Lyniepoo struck a chord in so many ways! Thank you so much for sharing your story with us.
The thing I love about these muses is that so many of them strike a chord in my heart and it's always rather a surprise to me that there are 'others' out there just like myself. I certainly feel less alone than I have in a while, and it's thanks to muses like Lynn's today that make this more possible every day!
I didn't do a green horse, I tried to do a picture of a tree and since my 'mother' was an artist I won't even begin to tell you how hurtful her comments were. For many, many years I tucked them away but evidently they have manifested in different ways and it's only now through my loving husband (and a therapist?!?!) that I am finally coming to terms with being comfortable with who I am!!
So thank you Lynn for sharing your thoughts, and also an ongoing thanks to Ro and others who have contributed to this wonderful forum and helped so many of us in so many different ways!
Oh!! And not forgetting to praise the wonderful layouts in today's newsletter - I do so enjoy my morning fix of LOs!!
Thanks ladies!! I have started my Saturday morning out with a jump in my step ... and believe me at my age and encroaching old age that's dangerous because of cracked hips!!

I agree with what everyone has already said.
I always tell my boys how beautiful their art or legos or whatever is. Because anything you create is beautiful right?
