Help
As I type this my friend's son is being transferred from one hospital to the children's hospital. He passed out, has had at least two seizures, and is currently unconcious and on a respirator. I know the power here and I need your help.
This boy is 13 and is a great kid. He just finished his Eagle Scout project and is a straight A student. No prior health problems- this is right out of the blue. I'll update when I know anything.

Oh Kaye how frightening, please let the family know that the SG prayer wheel is praying for their son and their strength to see them through this very hard time. Keep us up to date. Hugs to them.

Just came home from the hospital. It's so frightening to see a young man who has been so strong and healthy in a bed hooked up to a respirator and a million other machines. So far they haven't figured out what's going on, but they will be trying to bring him out of sedation during the night to see how he does. Here's the good news. . . everything they have tested him for so far has been negative. Many of the tests won't be completed until tomorrow.

Thanks for the update, Kaye. I'll continue to pray for the doctors to have wisdom and for a quick diagnosis and resolution to this problem as well as for the family to have a sense of peace. I'm sure they appreciate your being there for them. Please keep us updated?

Just read this this morning.........will pray God's hand brings comfort and reassurance to the family, that He will guide the doctors and give them wisdom and that this young boy will recover fully with no lasting effect.

Dear God, give this boy the strength he needs to be able to make it though this troubling time. Give his family comfort and strength to deal with his sickness. Give his doctors the knowledge to do the best that they can for him.

Love and prayers are on their way and with God's help a resolution will be found and this young man will be up and back to his family and friends again real soon. Just remember, Our Heavenly Father is watching over him. I will say an extra prayer to St. Jude, my patron saint.
