If Congress had approved it before it came out, he should have been promoted this spring. Spring is perfect timing. It gives us a bigger weight allowance for our household goods going overseas. And, we want our presents. I get a tablet. He's getting some XBox stuff.My husband told me this week, that Congress has approved the promotion list. It was approved last Friday. Now, we are waiting on PERSCOM to get that approval and to post how many and when they get promoted. From, that, he'll know when he'll pin on. 1 May would be good. I'd even take 1 June. He will have to get his orders amended to reflect the promotion, and thus the increased weight allowance. As long as I know we're getting the increased weight allowance, I can almost wait for my tablet and PSE 5.
