Thanks for the wonderful quote! I have to admit that sometimes I wonder what value I have (ok, I admit to having self-esteem issues!
), but then I look at Kiera and know I am being the best parent I know how for this wonderful child. I have no idea what her life would've been like had she been able to stay in her home country and I hope that, somewhere in their hearts, her biological parents know I love her enough for all of us. I feel for them because I am the one who is blessed to have the joy that is Kiera.
Whether adoptive or biological parents, we have such an impact on the lives that come after us. Sometimes that's scary - but I wouldn't give it up for the world!

Angela, I just read your quote after venting about my adopted teenager. Thank you for sharing that. Believe it or not, it helped. I hope I didn't vent too much. Once I get going, I find it hard to stop.
