TeaScrapper
I was reviewing Mozy and Carbonite and came across a reference to JungleDisk powered by Amazon. JungleDisk It allows you to back up from as many PCs and EHDs as you want at no extra charge. It charges for the amount of gigs you have stored as well as upload/download, but I think it would work out about the same as the other 2. I'd like to know if anyone has used it and if so, thoughts on it? Thanks.
geekscrapper
Looks like jungledisk is a "reseller" of amazon's storage. Just go straight through amazon if you want to go that way. That's what I suggest. http://www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html?node=16427261
TeaScrapper
I didn't see a difference in pricing between going directly through Amazon or JungleDisk. It looks like going directly through Amazon is more for developers, whereas JungleDisk has an easy to use interface. In reviewing services, I see complaints about different services, but didn't really find any about JungleDisk, so I was just curious if others have tried it. I'll probably give this one a go to see what it is like, but just wanted to know if others had used it yet. Thanks.
geekscrapper
The only thing I'm leery of is if there's an issue and jungledisk drops the ball you're out of luck because your "contract" is with them, not amazon. I just personally would feel safer going directly with the source. But I use Mozy and love them.
