Help
Hi all!
Thought I would share my good news with everyone. We took in two foster children in 2006 - one, we were told was an adoptive placement, the other, only a foster placement until BM could "get it together" and he could be reunited with her. Fast forward - the one we were fostering and planning to send home is now free for adoption, the other "guarenteed" adoptive placement was reunified with his mother, after almost a yea of no contact between them. It just about killed me to turn him over to her, but I did it. Anyhow, the adoption worker today told me that E's adoption should be complete within the next 2 months. E. turns 2 next month and we have had him since he was 2 months old. We are so excited that he is finally going to be ours. I see some major scrapbooking of adoption ceremony pictures SOON!
We are waiting on some major court decisions for my other little boy. He is 16 weeks old (5 months next week) and is just a wonderful baby. he is sleeping peacefully next to me as I type this! we are hoping for a smooth adoption for him.
More details to follow when I know them :>)

Such exciting news! It must have been difficult to send your one home; I really admire people who act as foster parents. Best with your adoptions. I join everyone else in looking forward to those pictures.

How exciting this is and I think that you and your DH are just absolutely awesome people !!! I am just in awe that you are so willing to give these two children a happy, solid and loving home!!! Plus, we all get to be SG Aunts again... Bless you both for doing this..

Congrats. It really takes special people to foster children. You are doing a wonderful service for the world. There needs to be more kind hearted people like you around. I wish you all the happiness you can hold
