I wonder if adding ABR. files to presets folder slows down the program when it is opening for the first time, kinda like the way too many fonts slows it down or is it okay to add all the ABR. files to my Presets folder and CS3 just loads the particular brushes I ask it to.
Thanks in advance,
Ashleigh

Loading Brushes In Cs3

I find that having all my brushes loaded doesn't affect the speed of CS3, although having all my styles loaded makes it take longer for ps to open initially. I'm working with 4GB of RAM so if you only have 1 or 2 GB it may make a difference.
The only thing that is a bother with all my brushes loaded is scrolling through the long list. So what I normally do is load mainly the brushes I'm working with, then delete them (via the brush preset manager) when I want to work with another set. Deleting in the preset manager doesn't really delete them - they are still in the brush preset folder; they just aren't loaded in ps any longer.
HTH!
