MSN-Emoticon-198.gif Calling all scrappers!

Are you guys as exhausted as I am? Phew ... what a week! The mischief may be over but the fun doesn't have to end.

I have a challenge for you. I'm wondering if it's as much of a challenge for you as it is for me.

Lately I've been trying to pick ways to scrapbook outside of my "box." One thing I haven't done is to make a list and use journal strips. So my challenge to you is to make a list of 5-10 items. It could be a list of your daughters favorite things. It might be a list of your best friends from high school. Or how about a list of your fears? You can make your list about anything you want.

When you go to scrap your list, put it on journal strips! I have to admit that this is the part I'm having trouble with. I've never used this technique before. Maybe my brain is on overload but it's just not coming easily for me. So I've inspired you by throwing out the challenge. It's your turn to inspire me by showing me how I can do this! I will post my layout after you've all inspired me! Promise!

So go make those lists, tear up those strips and show me how you "tack them down!"

Please post your layouts to the General Challenge Gallery and HAVE FUN!!!

Basically they are little scraps of paper. Put one thing per scrap from your list. So if you have 9 things on your list, you'll have 9 pieces of scrap paper to tack onto your page somehow. :D

I wanna do this. I have a great idea rolling around... don't know when I'll get to it, but I'm gonna do it. I am sad I have very little time to scrap but you know what, that will all turn around after May is over, May is just tooooo crazy busy for me!

Here is mine!

Ok, This challenge was just what I needed to get my tushy in gear! I should have scrapped the LIST of LISTS that I have LOL - I have a list of 25 types of LOs I want to do for my DD's baby/toddler book. This list of songs was one of the items on THAT list. I learned to play with leading edges and type settings by doing this challenge and now feel I can whittle away the list of lists one by one til all the layouts are done. I just might go back and scrap the list of lists, too!!! Be back to post that later!

Ok I think I might have a go at this, perfect way to use those journal strips I got a while back.

I might actually do 2 pages, one for each of my boys. Don't expect it too soon though as I have lots on this weekend with my Dad being here :)

Here is an example of what I did a while back......I hope this is what you mean by journal strips. I will get to another list soon. Cant promise it will be today since I am in the middle of a layout already.

TracEy!! We have 2 things in common... geocaching and Depeche Mode! I've seen them 4 times in concert. Twice in Vancouver, once in Minneapolis and once in Denver (what a trip that was!)

Thank you thank you thank you! You ladies are giving me great ideas! I'm hoping to have time to give mine a go tomorrow. I have a MOPS meeting in the morning and I think I'm feeling a cold coming on (again!) so we'll have to see. But I will do it and when I do I will post it ... promise!

Oh ... I left love to everyone who has posted so far! They are awesome!

I'll do mine either later tonight or tomorrow. Dr visit was unproductive today but at least I got some hydrocortisone cream for the rash that is all over my body and I still have to take the benadryl...ugh! Gonna be a walking zombie for the rest of the weekend!

Decided to do it tonight instead. Now the benadryl is gonna kick in :)

Here's my contribution. Great idea, and thank you so much for the challenge. I've often thought of using this technique but never was motivated enough to try it. I even got brave enough to do it about me!
