Ok gals..I started today! I woke up this morning and was like "you know what this is out of control" So today is Day 1! It's hard for me to do an actual program since I do daycare all day and it seems like i'm always feeding someone. So I decided that sugar is out of the house, after I get rid of the halloween candy (is it bad I keep sending it home with daycare kids?) and as a group, me and the kids, are going to start with healthier snacks. I did a version of Atkins once and lost 50lbs (before I got pregnant) so i'm back to that. Nuts, cheese sticks, fruit for snacks. Breakfast toast/peanut butter and a healthier dinner. No snacking after dinner and make sure I drink all my water. Which shouldn't be hard since that's all I drink, just not enough of it a day. I'm not giving up the carbs because I know honestly I can't do that. But there's so many versions of whole wheat out there, that I can be happy with it. I know the first few days will be the hardest, I remember last time once I got past day 4 or 5 it was much easier. But at that time I worked outside the home and kept busy all day, now i'm home with the kitchen right in front of me. UGH!
We'll see how it goes!!
oh, forgot to add that I also cleaned the clothes off the excersice bike, now if I could only get them off the bowflex.

Sounds like you are truly ready to get healthier
Great Job! That;s the first step,

To have a friend is to have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an extra pair of legs when yours are too weak to stand alone...
I have been living buried in books and writing classes... as an added note I must say that it is rather scary when you start dreaming and all you can see within your dreams is words floating everywhere!

Yeah Angie! Go for it girl.
If we all keep lifting each other up when we fall down, we may make it together.
