Kara
I have a great picture of my son out in the woods. Problem is, he's wearing a green jacket that kind of blends into the background. Using PSE, I'm sure I can change the color of his jacket to something more dramatic - like red - but I don't know how to do it. I should know how - but apparently I've forgotten. Any tips? KellyChron
Use a hue/saturation adjustment layer and use the mask to change the color of just his jacket... What ever you leave white will change color and what ever you "mask" in black will stay the way it was...
PBarnes
I just did that type of thing on my last layout. The Hue/Saturation mask that Kelly mentioned is the best idea but I didn't think of that at the time and just used the Magic wand to select the area I wanted to change (granddaughter's dress) and then used the Hue/Saturation sliders to get the color I wanted.
