CreativeKaren
HI Everyone. I have PSE6 - I know how to install brushes BUT how do I install actions? Do I go all the way in Drive C to Adobe and PSE6 and then to Plug-ins and then Effects? I get to Filter Gallery but do not know if this is the right place to install Actions. There are so very few (at least I have not found many) actions or filters to install for PSE and Scrapgirls have a few of them. Help Please - Thank you in advance. I also have Scrapgirls Secrets and More Secrets but don't remember if it said how to install Filter or Actions. Thanks again.
J9Buckles
Hi Karen! In case no one has said so yet, let me say "Welcome to Scrap Girls!" In regards to your question each of the actions come with directions for your installation in your program. As long as you have purchased the actions for the program you are using you should be able to follow them and get to using your new toys. If you have any specific questions about installation or use you can always come back and post it here. I use PSE5 but someone who uses 6 should be able to help. In the meantime take a look at the Adobe reader file that came with your purchase. Hope this helps!

I don't think there is much difference between PSE5 and PSE6 when it comes to installing actions - so if I have any problems I know who to contact. Thanks again. There was a thread just the other day listing the path to follow for PSE6 and installing styles and actions. I'll see if I can find it and link it here. It should be noted that not all Photoshop actions will work in Elements (regardless of version) as Photoshop has some features which Elements just does not have and if those features are being used as part of the action it won't work. Make sure the actions you want to use are Elements compatible.
J9Buckles
That's true, but our designers are really careful to always note that in their product description. Just be sure and read through it.
