HisThao
I decided to give Carbonite a try and am currently in the initial backup process. I knew it didn't back up external or networked drives, but now I'm not able to select files and folders in my second internal hard drive to back up. To be doubly-sure, I've asked my husband about 5 times already, "Is my second drive an external or networked drive?" Nope, it's local. So a reply from Carbonite stated that I could have an invalid or duplicate serial number(s) on my hard drives. I was told to download this small software to change the hard drive's serial number. So I did. But it's still didn't work. Has anyone encountered this problem with Carbonite? Does anyone know what the problem could be? Last night, I finished backing up all my important files to DVDs, so at least I have those.
