I just got it this week. We actually bought the Wii system so I could get the Wii fit.
It is an EYE opener. It measures your BMI automatically.
What a WAKE UP CALL!!!
I have started with some yoga and LOVE it! It is much harder than I thought it would be.
We also have enjoyed some of the Wii games.
Bowling is my favorite.
You actually have to move to bowl good so it is a mini workout! LOL
We got the Wii Ski but I have not tried it yet.
My son did it and he said his legs were a little sore from weaving. We have it set up with the Wii fit board so you get all
the movement in.
I had been sick with that nasty cold/cough thing for almost 2 weeks. So I had not been doing much. I actually just got back on the eliptical today. That was pitiful. I was up to doing a full circuit and a little more. Now I could barely get a little over 1/2 a circuit done:-(
Anyway, I would love to hear from anyone else who is trying the Wii fit.
Thanks!!!

Eliza/Sewkitty

I want to get it but, of course, they are not available anywhere. This whole Wii thing is really annoying. I can't figure out why the Nintendo products are not more available. We love all the Wii Sports.

My SIL got the Wii Fit the day it came out, she says she loves it! We don't have a Wii, only an XBox. I do have a YMCA Membership, so thats how I get my exercise in! Im anxious to try the Wii Fit, but not anxious for it to analyze me right away!

Have fun with it Eliza, hope you get the results you want fast!

I would love to get it too. I love the other Wii sports games, boxing can really make my arms sore! The skiing would be so cool. I haven't been skiing in so long, but it would be fun to do it without freezing my bum off. ;)

Sure does look like fun! I'd love to get one. The only game type system I have is the Nintendo DS Lite that I play brain age on. :) I highly recommend that too for exercising your brain.

Have it and love it!!! They did a great job designing it! As you play/use it more, it opens up new games/levels. Once you do enough running or steps, it opens free run and free step, where you can turn to another TV channel while you exercise!!

My favorite part?? Watching my 230 lb DH doing 'virtual hula-hoop' because he wants to beat my score!!! LOL!!!

My husband is getting a Wii for father's day/his birthday. I bought it a couple months ago and have been dying to give it to him. Finally Father's Day is just around the corner. He's been working hard lately to get in shape, so I wonder if he won't be saving his money now for the Wii fit. Just yesterday a friend of mine was telling me about it.

We just picked up the Wii system this week and are looking for the Wii fit package. I believe I
saw it at Costco and will check online when I check out laptops later this weekend.

Looks like FUN!

Now I'm really starting to want one. We have borrowed my SIL's but now that she has the Wii fit, she probably wont want to give it up. Too bad my budget wasnt big enough to get DH one for Farther's Day....but I got him a mousepad and a making him a framed photo collage for his desk at work...

Maybe by Christmas we can get one! LOL....

I did go check out Wacom Tablets today too..........

I have it too. I am addicted to the step exercise. When I first started out, it measures your Wii fit age. I am really 38 but my Wii fit age was 56!!!! So after 2 weeks my Wii fit age is 41. Much better but seeing the numbers makes you want to do better. I have been doing it for almost an hour a day and have opened almost all of the different exercises by earning points. The yoga and strength training exercises are hard. I am up to 30 minutes of steps (3000 steps). But the weird thing is I am also watching what I am eating and I haven't lost any weight yet. SO I will keep trying. I am anxious to see what other Wii fit step dance routines they start to sell. I will be the first inline to buy them.

I'm so excited. I was at Costco yesterday, ran into a friend and said "Hi". We both went on with our shopping, when soon I hear her shouting at me from half way across the warehouse that they had the Wii Fit today. She sent Greg, her son, ruuning over to me to show me where they were. So now I have it and am going downstairs to hook it up as soon as I do a little scrapping. Can't wait to try it. :dancingelephant: :dancingelephant:

I don't but my husband found this funny parody on it at youtube. I was nearly literally rotflol.

It's probably a really neat thing, but in some ways I can really see the point of the parody.

Did you have hours of enjoyment leaning side to side? lol

I bet it really is a great workout though, and the fact that you can do it anytime in your own home is nice too. :)
