Bendipez,
Sorry I didn't try them out in DIP, only PS & PSE. You shouldn't have to resize at all. Just start with the last letter of the word you are spelling..stack the next one on top then slide it to the left. If you have a nudge key (the arrows) that will keep it from moving out of place. Maybe someone with DIP will come along and help. Do you work in layers with this program?

Make sure you start with the spacing template or one of the back templates. In the instructions it shows how to do that..that should help you with how much space you have to work with. The are set up to be 10.5 inches so they are easy toprint at home.

These templates are fantastic! It is easy to use them in DIP.
Here are some simple instructions and tips:
Open the last letter of your album. Go to Insert>Picture>From my computer and find the next to last page of your album (i.e. if you are doing the word LOVE the first file to open would be E, then insert V and so on.)
Continue to insert pictures to spell your word in reverse order. They should all line up directly on top of each other. Follow the instructions given for spacing out your word layer by layer, starting with the first letter and moving it to the left...... etc.
Once you have your word spaced out just like you want it go to Edit>Duplicate whole picture. Do this for each page in your book. You will have to create each page in a separate document so that you will be able to print out just the parts you want for each page. By doing it this way, each letter will line up just like you have it and you will not have to try to figure out where to put each letter on the page.
To begin decorating your album. Choose the first duplicate and save it by naming it something with the first letter. Now delete all layers except the first letter or page in your album. Decorate your page by selecting a color with the magic wand, Select Edit>Copy, Edit>Paste, and the selection will be on it's own layer. Now you can fill that layer with a paper or a photo by going to Effects > Fill with Texture or Color>Fill with a photo> browse for a photo from your computer. You should see the image fill in the section of the template you have created. Continue to fill in each part of the template and decorate with embellishments and photos as you wish. Save your first page.
Move to the next duplicate and save it by naming it something with the second letter of your album. On this one you will delete that first letter you have already finished. Then delete all the letters below the second letter. Remember they were only there for spacing.
Now you will finish out your second page as you did your first page.
Continue to work with the different letters until your album is complete. When they are all printed out, they will line up just as you placed them. The other parts of the instructions will help you to put them together and will also show how to make a double sided album. All of those techniques should work the same way.
I hope that helps. If you have further questions feel free to PM me or ask here on the boards. I will see if I can help.
